Description:

CURRENTLY LISTED ON EBAY.CO.UK

2001 manufactured  Dastle Race Box – believed one of the last ones made, and their largest model being built within UK regulations on trailer width and length.

2500kg load capacity.Internal dimensions: the load area is 6 metres long (just under 20ft) measured from the  rear doors/ramps to the built in work bench/ cupboards. If you removed the cupboards you would gain approx. 2 ft.

The maximum internal width is 2.113m or 7ft, with the narrowest width between the wheel arches being 1.9m/6’3”. This determines what car you can fit in.

Galvanised chassis, aluminium panel+ glass fibre nose construction on steel frame. Split rear ramps. Side door.

Built in work bench + cupboards, 12v  winch with remote plug in control, leisure battery, internal shelves, and fitted with mesh for securing spare parts to. Separate power cable, as per caravans, to charge winch battery when on the go.

I am the second owner, having purchased it in 2002/3 from the original owner who had the trailer built to order by Dastle to transport his rally car, and had hardly used it. The trailer has only seen private use by me to transport my race car over the years so in fact has had a relatively low use and mileage. It has always been stored inside over winter.

For sale to include the fitted winch + battery as above, original spare wheel, original Dastle jack and wheel brace, keys, wheel clamp, 4x brand new tyres.

For a fifteen year old trailer it is in good shape, however cosmetically she is showing signs of her age on the exterior :The gel coat on the fibreglass nose has stone chips, and overall the white paintwork has aged and if keeping it I would probably be thinking about a respray at some point– but a new owner can chose to do this and in any colour. She has received a few small dings and scrapes  in her time- see photos.  The jockey wheel lost its rubber and so could do with replacing.
