Description:
Interesting restoration project, the Felday 5 was built in 1966 by Peter Westbury's Felday developments and was entered in the 1966 Guards Trophy race at Brands Hatch in 1966. The tubular spaceframe chassis was powered by a Holman and Moody Ford V8 driving all 4 wheels through the Ferguson research transaxle transmission system.
The car was later stripped of its engine and transmission and fitted with the Chrysler engine and a ZF two wheel drive transmission as fitted to Ford GT40 / Lotus 30 and larger March wheels fitted.
Offered for sale as seen, although we would be interested in having an involvement with the restoration of this unique car that would be a prime invite to many classic events especially if re united with the four wheel drive system which we could also provide.
