Radical PR6, Rolling Chassis / Shell.

With huge regret due to a change in my personal circumstances, I am offering for sale my “all singing and dancing” Radical PR6 as a rolling chassis / shell ie the complete car minus the engine gearbox and throttle bodies.

The car is currently fitted with a brand new, zero hours (except mapping time at RLM), 1440 cc STAGE 2 Hayabusa engine, however this is to be removed shortly leaving the car ready to fit your own motor of choice.

Everything else will remain on the car ready to “plug and play”, ie

Later Radical (Geartronics) pneumatic Paddle Shift System – only use the clutch to initially move off, then flat throttle upshifts and automatic (blipped throttle) downshifts.

24 volt starting system and regulated charging system.

Aim Dash with full Datalogging capability

Life ECU

Bi-plane carbon fibre rear wing.

Carbon fibre Radical “Le Mans” mirrors (these are a ridiculous price !)

Intrax dampers

Centre lock wheels, currently fitted with Avon slicks.

Radical (Hispec) “Big Brake” kit front and rear with fully floating discs

The Quaife LSD has just been completely rebuilt by Quaife and is zero hours. Receipt to prove.

Brand new chain.

Brand new front sprocket.

Brand new rear sprocket.

Oil heater pads on dry sump tank to aid warm up times and help reduce engine hours merely warming the engine up !

The car has brand new paintwork and looks stunning.

Brand new belts / harness (Schroth 6 point).

Brand new seat, fitted with bead resin infill and fire proof covering.

Lifeline plumbed in fire extinguisher – serviced and in date.

The light weight and superior handling chassis of the PR6 mean that over a lap / race this is the spec of car to have if you want to have laurels hung around your neck, taste race winners champagne and fill the sideboard with fancy trophies !!

Look at the results and lap times of people like Josh Smith and Graham Hill in the BRSCC OSS race championship to see that this is what you need to have if you want to be at the front and embarrass some people with machinery at twice the power and umpteen times the cost J

Equally fit in a 1340cc motor and the 750MC Bikesports Championship is a good place to have a lot of fun at the front.

The car would also be extremely competitive in Sprints or Hillclimbs where you could really go to town with a 1585cc motor !

I also have a selection of very worthwhile spares which will be available to the buyer of the car if wanted. The cost of these spares will be via separate negotiation, but will be at a very favourable price to the buyer of the car. These include:

• 3 additional sets of centre lock wheels;

One set with virtually new Avon slicks

One set with virtually new Avon wets

One set with worn Dunlop wets

• A brand new and unused, fully panelled PR6 chassis direct from the Radical factory

• A set of Radical / Jenvy throttle bodies.

• A selection of brand new rear sprockets.

• A selection of brand new Nik Link bars

• A selection of wishbones, uprights, carbon front dive planes, spare wheel nuts, body pins, useful tools, long reach quick lift jack etc

It is frankly a crying shame to be offering this car for sale without me getting to use it, especially after all the work and expense to turn it into a winning spec car, however some changes in my personal life mean that it is no longer going to be viable for me to race this car, hence it is offered for sale.

The price for the car minus engine is £15,450.

If you prefer, I can also potentially offer the car fitted with a low hours 1340cc Hayabusa engine for £21,000.
