This car, this exact unit, was presented in February 1986 at a Belgium shop as a together proposal from Luigi and Imberti of what a Group A 75 should be.

Remember that the GTV6 were developed by these two as there was no factory support in touring cars since the GTAm, and as the 75 has basicly the same alfetta chassis with longer wheelbase they quite confortable with the car.

Then the car was re-assembled to the EVO specs (presented at late 1986) and sold to Portugal. Until March it raced without the aerodynamic kit and retaining the torsion bars. As soon as the Evo got his homologation papper it was run full spec.

The driver Rufino Fontes was close to Giorgio Pianta, manager of Alfacorse, and brought the car to Factory spec during the 1987 season with an Alfa Corse engine that is still in the car to replace the Imberti developed engine (based on a road turbo, available as spare engine) complete with the special motronic electronics that does not use AFM.

It raced a full season, came 3rd at Vila Real and won the 3 hour endurance at Estoril, never failed to finish.

Needs an easy restoration as it is complete, no rust, never crashed.

Spares: Imberti turbo engine (undressed forged block fully assembled, no turbo), 12 spare speedline wheels.
