Description:

MG Metro 6R4 C643PRN car and spare wheels and tyres.

Original build by John Price from club car the shell is in very good condition with original alloy roof (fitted pop up roof vent) mainly tarmac use only still retains steel inner front wings complete with heated screen.

Tarmac specification R&D cage with revised turret caster modifications and front cradle support, door cross braces etc. Fitted with fiberglass panels and steel doors. Recent perspex screens side and rear. Chassis is skidded and has clubman alloy sump guard’s front and rear.

Suspension is three way adjustable Proflex with progressive coil springs. Original AP brake calipers all round and recent discs. Revised front hubs with larger bottom pin to wishbone, anti-roll bars front and rear tarmac specification with blades and rose joints. Front wishbones are strengthened with new spherical bottom joints. Power steering is engine driven.

Gearbox built by Goodmans, close ratio Gemini gears and with Xtrac 5th gear. Rear diff Heavy duty R&D casing plated with 12 plates and rebuilt by Lyle Armstrong 2015. Front Diff extreme heavy duty Goodmans casing lsd with 2 plates ramp. Centre diff is 1.5 drop gears 35/65 and VC at 195NM with three-piece quill shaft, all transmission just rebuilt (2015) by Lyle Armstrong.

Engine is Goodmans 2.5 ltr (62.5mm crank) 9750 rpm engine with Goodmans slide throttle injection running original ARG Lucas ECU on six injectors. Engine runs with updated air separator dry sump tank and two oil cooler rads one with electric cooling fan. Repackable alloy exhaust silencers and carbon fiber cam belt covers.

Radiator is A/H fabrications with WRC core and twin Spal cooling fans.

Interior is pair of Motordrive seats (still in date until September 2016) full harness belts (still in date until 2017), peltor  FMT200 intercom and Zero 2000 fire extinguisher system fitted 2014, Brantz trip meter and OMP steering wheel

Engine has done 285 competition miles only since rebuild in 2012 by Goodmans and full transmission is on 0 miles (Jan 2016).

4 x new GKN rear drive shaft joints and 2 x new wheel bearings during 2015 check over.
