Description:

MG ZR 1400 Race Car. This car has been a front running 1400 class car in the Castle Combe Saloon Championship and has been built to a very high standard. Specification is as follows.

BODYSHELL: All steel but extensively lightened. Full weld in roll cage with double diagonal door bars and triangulated into front strut towers. Perspex side and rear windows with drivers slider (Rear 3 windows properly shaped units. Not screwed in flat panels)Codra race seat with Scroth 3" harness. Cudtom light weight dash with rev counter, oil pressure, oil and water temp and all major fuses. The car runs a a lightweight wiring loom but has working lights,wipers and indicators. Foam filled alloy fuel tank in spare wheel well. Plumbed in fire extinguisher.

BRAKES:Discs all round with MG 160 front calipers. Front/rear bias valve in cockpit.

 FRONT SUSPENSION: Front AVO coilovers, height and rate adjustable with adjustable camber top mounts, anti roll bar and all poly bushed.

REAR SUSPENSION: Protech 2 way rate and height adjustable coil overs with removable anti roll bar.

ENGINE: MG Rover 1400 K series, forged pistons,VHPD cams with vernier pulleys,flowed head with Jenvy direct to head throttle bodies controlled by an Emerald ECU.

Janspeed 4 into 2 into1 race manifold and custom exhaust. Rolling road printout showing 155 BHP, Rev limited at 8,200.

GEARBOX:  Quaife close ratio 5 speed internals with Bacci plateLSD.3.9 to1 CWP. Rose jointed gear linkage.

This car drives and handles superbly.Totally ready to go and in lovely condition. A very competitive car in the right hands.
