This is a Rover SD1 Thunder saloon Rolling shell

The shell has been heavily modified as shown in the pictures. The gearbox tunnel has been made much much larger along with the bellhousing area of the bulkhead to allow the engine and gearbox to be moved backwards. the rear of the car has also been heavily stripped, with the rear bulkhead and boot floor having been completely removed. The car has then had an extensive rollcage fitted to retain some strength, and aluminium cover panels made to cover the new tunnel and rear areas.

The bonnet, boot lid, front wings, wheel arch extensions and 3 of the 4 doors are all fibreblass, the roof has been but out and a thinner sheet of material riveted in to save weight, and all of the windows are perspex apart from the windscreen which is missing. unfortunately the rear arch extensions have been very badly trimmed back, and the sections that were trimmed off are in the car, so these will need some attention. There is also a large rear wing which was fitted to the car in the past.

The car comes as a rolling shell. It has a lengthened, braced, strengthened rear axle fitted with an LSD, mounted using top location radius arms and an A-frame. The car also has LEDA adjustable Shocks and adjustable platform coilovers all round. The rear brake discs and calipers are fitted to the car but not plumbed, and the car also comes with a pair of willwood superlight calipers and discs for the front.

The car is fitted with a set of genuine compomotive Turbo 16" wheels, and also comes with race pedal box and a kirkey aluminium Race seat. 

The car is missing many components and is sold as seen, what you see in the pictures is what you get!
