Description:

This is the Matech Ford GT GT3 chasis DMSB 007 that was built by Matech Concept by the end of 2008. The car made its debut in the last race of 2008 season of the FIA GT3 European Championship in Dubai and was drove in only one of the two races of the weekend (the second race was cancelled due to heavy rain) by La Marca brothers. The car left the factory in red colour. In 2009 the car did not race and was sold to Brasil where it raced in the SRO Brasil GT3 Championship winning the Championship in 2010 and 2011 driven by Valdeno Brito and Matheus Stumpf. (http://www.racingsportscars.com/chassis/results/GT-GT3-Britto%23.html) . As soon as the car arrived to brasil, was painted in Orange as it was the sponsor colour.

In 2012, the team that were running 3 FGT3 in the SRO Brasilian GT3 Championship, moved to BMW Z4 GT3 and the Fords were sent, 2 to Europe and 1 to USA. Both cars in Europe were already sold to collectors last year, and the one in the US is still for sale.

The 007 never had an accident and all its carbon bodywork is in pristine condition. Engine has 4h of use and the gearbox 0h. Dampers, brakes, springs, ECU, and many other parts are also renewed. Car is ready to hit the track and be competitive. In the video link made few month ago its possible to see the car starting and some pics of the state of the car today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16YZrWIe9gU

Even if its ready to race, the car has a lot of value as collector car as only 18 Ford GT GT3 were built and the fact that it started from a road legal chasis makes it a really good investment as only 4038 Ford GTs were built between 2005 and 2007.

Its, for sure, one of the best examples of the Ford GT GT3, not only because it has only 20 weekend races, but also because it won 2 championships in that short period.

Its a really cheap car to mantain and really easy to run. Its engine is a 5.0L Ford Roush (similar to the Grand Am spec engine) capable to reach up to 650HP without restrictor and the gearbox is the secuential Hewland NLT.

The car raced in Dubai with #50 and in Brasil it always raced with #7 and it still sticked to the windscreen. In the pics is possible to see the car in its first race in Dubai. Then theres a pic of the car in orange with 2 black stripes that was taken in Interlagos, in march 2010 when it raced for the first time in Brasil. The pic with the board in the windscreen represent the last race of the car in Interlagos too in december 2011 and the board, in portuguese, says "congrats champs for the 2010&2011 titles".

Car were always keeped at the highest Matech Standars. Spare engine with 0h available on request.
