This is a very strong-running engine with no unusual noises, no smoke even on cold start-up, and excellent oil pressure. The clutch is in good condition and doesn’t slip, and the gearbox shifts smoothly through all gears.

Based on the engine number (M96-0569504456), it appears to be one of the models with the smaller IMS bearing, typical of the production years. If you're buying the engine, it’s strongly recommended to inspect and consider replacing the IMS bearing with the updated version if this hasn’t already been done.

Ideal for a direct swap, project build, or even a Boxster engine conversion!
