Genuine very rare Volvo 123 GT .

This was car was commisioned to be built in Sweden for Stage rallying by Volvo  expert Haken Anderssson at Bil Motorsport Service.There is a full photographic history of build from bare shell up and all paperwork including FIA Papers(expired 2024).

I aquired the car a year ago as a P/ex and set to getting it re commisioned as it had been unused for several years although was still driveable.

Original build in Sweden included all safety items and shell work ,plus engine work including big valve ported head,fully balanced bottom end,cam,overbore to 1850, forged  pistons,LSD,etc.etc.

Re commisioning by myself ,included,new bilsteins,polybushes,brakes,LSD plates,addition of brake booster,power steering,interior trim for road rally,new engine bearings and oil pump,ring and pinion change to higher ratio ,road legal hydraulic handbrake and much set up work to dial it in.

Last time out was at Race retro where it performed very well and got massive attention.Can be seen on several videos from the event.

Body is in very good shape with only minoor scratches as you would expect after rallies in Sweden and UK.

Spares include forest tyres and rims(comp minilites),Snow tyres on steels,Gearbox,Back axle,Wishbones,Crossmember,etc.

Ready to use in any event of your choice.However for Stage events will need seats and belts.

For Sale due to change of direction,however I will keep using it untill it goes as it is such reliable fun.

Consider P/ex on track prepared 924s or turbo/944 Porsche rally car or race car that can be converted to rallying.All pre 1990
