Custom Speed Racing Cobra:

We bought a FFR Spec Racer in 2005 for an Austrian Customer to do historic races at Europe. After the first track testing we decided to upgrade the car. This held all time long and went ahead at the second Austrian owner as well. No the second owner retires from racing as well and the car is for sale.

The next owner is the most lucky one because he can get a car highly developed and built like no other Cobra can be at a very reasonale price.

Over the time we ran different engines and ended up now running a Ford FR9 NASCAR engine of RoushYates which has beed rebuilt once and is almost fresh. At rebuild it was respeced a little bit and down cammed to have more early access to torque and a perfect fit the the cars drivetrain etc. As this is a perfectly engineered engine it still made over 800hp on the engine dyno.

Over the years we redesigned the whole frame we changed the rear to double wishbone suspension with custom made upright, built a tough differential und use Drexler Tripod Racing axle schaft system and Drexler differential. We kept the dog ring 4 speed NASCAR transmission as no more gears will be needed ever and it shifts perfectly. We added 10 click adjustable sword sway bars front and rear, we 3D measured the car and made model at our development software to calculate everthing necessary, built proper dampers and brought it to perfect balance and we can provide all data for future tests and adjustments.

It´s an all set race car, all mechanically, no helpers with extrem power and very good grip and balance that makes it fun to drive and if you floor the throttle it does something with you….

It´s all pretty fresh and no rebuilds are pending and can just be raced as it is. We are available to support at any form needed to make track time to a fun and headacheless event.

When we switched to the FR9 motor we took out the former engine in good shape. We kept it as a spare engine which is very powerful,too. It´s Ford small block based on a Ford racing block, with top flowing heads and just very high quality parts used. It made 665 hp, 837Nm.

This can be taken as a package or not if not wanted.

The owner asks for 129.000.- EUR for the whole package including spare engine.

The involved people will understand how reasonable this is. It´s a fraction of what was invested within 20 years…..

2 years ago at testing at Red Bull Ring we had a semi professional racer to do a perfect set up on track. He did a 1:32.40 as best lap time which is considered as ultra fast for a non aero non electronic race car.
