Introduced in 1962, the Alfa Romeo Giulia marked a significant step forward for the marque, combining a lightweight monocoque construction with the spirited performance of its all-new 1,570cc twin-cam engine. The Giulia Super, launched at the 1965 Geneva Motor Show, represented the evolution of the concept, drawing directly on technology from the competition-focused TI Super. Equipped with twin Weber carburettors and producing approximately 112bhp, it delivered lively performance alongside refined usability, further enhanced by its five-speed gearbox and disc brakes on all four wheels.
