1960 morris minor touring race car which has been racing on and off since the 1970's. Lots of history and massive file of the car, owners and cosiderable expencenditure. Some owners infact owned the car twice including myself. I owned and raced the minor from 2015, when the car had been recommisioned, improved and then circuit raced around the uk with the classic touring car racing club.

Sadly due to medical reasons, i now have to to sell the morris and finish my racing days.

Bodywork fair resprayed 7 years ago and to be honest good enough for racing, but no show car.

Car has V5, taxed, mot exempt but road legal.

Body shell has been strenghened and repaired over the years as required.

Alloy foam filled fuel tank, facet fuel pump and regulator sted in boot.

Running on 13 inch minilites with rain expert rain/road tyres, 3 additional rims included.

Engine 1275 bored to plus 60 over bore, steel peter may con rods, mini spares pistons, En60 crank balanced with additional strapping. Med roller rockers and arp bolts. Full race ported cylinder head, larger valves and springs, full race camshaft and cometic race head gasket.Roller rocker upgrade, upgrade crank seal kit, lightened med flywheel, etc.

Full engine spec available from my engine builder. Engine producing around 125bhp see dyno sheet picture.

Engine breathing through weber 45 side draught carburettoron race inlet manifold.

Exhaust manifold and full bespoke exhaust by maniflow specialist.

Aldon race electronic distributor, flamethrower coil, powerlite alternator.

Lots of time and expenditure have been spent on this little car making it successfull, fun and capable in class.

I bought this car as a learner race car from frieds in the ctcrc and ended up racing it for years as it proved to be a great budget historic tourng race car.

Probably cheapest entry level historic touring race car out there.

Car needs to go now, i would love to see the morris continue its racing career but also would consider splitting.

Engine refreshed 2025 one race only, only needs a new race harness to get out this season.

A brian james 185 tilt bed trailer also available as is a transponder at additional cost.
