Born from a bold collaboration between Argentine visionary Alejandro de Tomaso and American industrial giant Ford Motor Company, the De Tomaso Pantera was unveiled in 1971 as a transatlantic answer to the dominant European supercars of its era. Styled by Tom Tjaarda at Ghia, the Pantera combined striking Italian design with the reliability and brute force of a Ford V8 engine. Over time, the Pantera evolved into a respected platform both on the road and in motorsport, embodying a unique blend of style, accessibility, and racing pedigree.

Prepared to Group 3 specification by SALA, the official factory preparator, this Pantera reveals its true competitive nature. In period, Group 3 regulations governed series production grand touring cars, allowing for performance-focused modifications while retaining the essence of the road-going model. The result is a car that remains faithful to its original identity while delivering the precision, balance, and power required for historic competition. Chassis THPNMY04692 was originally ordered by Bordese Automobili for the Del Mastro family, marking the beginning of a well-documented and carefully maintained history. In 1993, the car passed to the Del Prete family, who entrusted its upkeep to the factory workshop in Modena, ensuring its mechanical integrity and authenticity. 

Acquired in 2006 by the Proscia family, the Pantera continued to benefit from attentive ownership before being exported to France through Garage Automobilia and subsequently purchased by Alain Benedetti who looked after it via STILL Racing in Toulouse.  

Exceptionally well documented throughout its life, the car has built an impressive competition record, including :
