For sale is my 2000 Porsche Boxster S 3.2 Race Car, professionally converted from a road car into a dedicated race-winning machine.

This car has also achieved numerous pole laps in quali & still holds the fastest lap for a 986 around Thruxton race circuit to date. 

 

I personally built this car, but not without a little help from Angus Archer who formerly ran AMS Porsche in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. Since then & as a race car I have been it’s only owner & driver. It has proven itself on track with 13 podium finishes during my ownership & has been maintained well throughout.

 

The car is ready to race, test or use on track days, with a fair amount of recent work completed & all safety relevant equipment currently in date.

Condition & Ownership

 

The car has been raced & therefore maintained regularly & is set up to be competitive, which I believe it is recognised for within the race paddock. This car provides keen racing drivers both new & old with a fantastic platform for club racing, track days, or time attack. It has been used for The CALM All Porsche Trophy regularly for the last 4 years & has also raced in The CSCC Open Series & Modern Classics as well as The 750mc 6hr Birket Relay at Silverstone twice.

I do believe it would also be eligible for Class 2 in Boxster Cup or The Porsche Club Championship with minimal tweaks.

 

Only selling due to life circumstances & to free up some space — the car does not really need anything & will certainly not disappoint.
