Race Imp for sale

Hi All,

I've reluctantly decided I'm going to sell my race Imp. I've loved racing it this year in CTCRC pre 66 but I've bought a Caterham to spend a bit more time hillclimbing with my Dad.. 

I bought the car approx a year ago in order to scratch a long term itch..The car was built in 2015 by Col Rooney and has passed through a couple of owners before I acquired it. Since purchase I've gone through the car to bring it up to scratch and it performed very well this year considering it was my first time driving an Imp and my first venture into circuit racing, ( a steep learning curve )

I'm sure with the right driver and further development it will be right on the pace with the best of them, ( I managed to beat a few of the Imps and others this year and bagged a 3rd in class at Pembrey out of 8 Imps on my third race weekend so shows its competitive given my lack of experience )

It's been built by the right people with the right bits and improved wherever required.

Fyi the car is road legal with V5.

The front end has just been fully repainted after a repair by Col/Bren Rooney.

It's a lovely little car to drive and a real shame for me not to continue but this is a head over heart decision, ( a new concept for me!). It would be eligible for various championships but i chose CTCRC as its well supported with good entry numbers, ( 9 Imps in class at times in 2025 ). I can honestly say the CTCRC Imp fraternity are a fantastic bunch and really supportive which makes the racing really enjoyable. It should also be noted that whilst the Imps are relatively affordable and smaller capacity than a lot of the grid they really can hold their own, especially on the right track in the right conditions...so much so that James Ibbotson won the championship again this year in his!

I'm looking for £23.5k ovno, ( I've got more than that in it and i know they cost over £30k to build ).
