The car comes with 2 sets spare wheels and a few spares. 

 

The R8 runs cleanly, selects gears without hesitation and currently wears its 2011 Nurburgring 24hr 'Audi Race Experience’ livery.  Raced this year very successfully at The Silverstone Festival this is an ideal GT3 to campaign in 2026. 

 

 

The R8 LMS GT3 Evo 1 is renowned for its stability, mechanical grip and reliability. Its aluminium spaceframe, naturally aspirated V10 and proven paddle-shift drivetrain create a forgiving but fast platform, ideal for both experienced amateurs and competitive drivers. Audi Sport’s long-running customer racing infrastructure ensures that expertise, setup knowledge and spares availability remain strong across Europe. 

Interest in early GT3 cars is growing rapidly, with multiple organisers now creating dedicated platforms for pre-2015 cars.

Developments for 2025 include:

• A new UK-based GT3 Legends grid run by Motor Racing Legends

• Peter Auto confirming annual GT3 action at Le Mans Classic and preparing a stand-alone GT3 series for 2026

• Also eligible for longstanding grids with Britcar and GT Cup.
