Original BMW E30 M3 CIVT/DTM

Chassis M3 1 119 was supplied to BMW Team Bigazzi ahead of their 1989 CIVT campaign. It was driven throughout the year by Jacques Laffite, Jean-Michel Martin, Pierluigi Martini, Gianni Morbidelli and Antonio Tamburini in the iconic Monteshell livery. After the completion of the 89 season the car was updated to the 1990 DTM specification for use as a T car by the team, competing at Mainz.

Post Bigazzi ownership the car was used in Italian Hilclimb championships and then made its way to the UK.

The current owner purchased the car in 2010 and has since enjoyed racing it within the UK and Europe. With numerous race wins, the M3 has appeared in HSCC Super Touring Car Challenger, Motor Racing Legends Historic Touring Car Challenge and Belcar Historic Cup, with four time BTCC champion Colin Turkington joining the owner for several rounds. It has also featured at Goodwood MM and twice at FOS under the expert hands of Steve Soper and Emanuele Pirro.

During the period of current ownership the car has been meticulously maintained by Amspeed. The car is sold in a race ready condition.

Eligible for MRL HTCC and the highly anticipated Peter Auto HTC2 series.
