One of only three cars known still to exist and the only one running in the UK. (There is one other disassembled car in the UK and a recently restored car in France). The first owner of the car in 1969 was Dave Morgan, whose successful career included F1 with Surtees in 1975. I am only the 5th owner and have run the car for the last nine years in sprints and hillclimbs, but the car would be fully eligible for circuit racing with the addition of a fire extinguisher bottle. An ideal candidate for the HSCC’s Historic or Classic Formula Ford series

The car is in excellent condition throughout and has been thoroughly prepared at the start of each season by McClurg Motorsport. The 1600 Minister branded engine was rebuilt in 2018 by Aldon Automotive and then refreshed again in 2022 with new big end bolts and bearings and new main bearings. It has run only about 75 to 100 miles per season, such is the nature of Speed events.

The car has FIA HTP papers which are valid to 31/12/26 and the six point belts are valid to the end of 2027 (+ 5 years for National events).

Included in the sale will be a substantial collection of spares including four wheels and tyres, springs, clutches, silencer, suspension jigs, a screen mould, indoor and outdoor covers, a cockpit tonneau cover and two box files containing a substantial history of the car and its manufacturer, photographs, brochures, old FIA papers, set up data, magazine articles, etc.
