Wickedly quick GTV can time 1:27's a lap at Summit Point Raceway and 2:17's at Virginia International Raceway (VIR).  If you are a pro driver I swear on my family's bible you could shave three seconds a lap in this car.  It's a leader car, often spanking classically gorgeous Mustangs, Corvettes and Comaros in the twisties.    

Lovingly built Mike Besic motor dynoed at 230+HP linked to a butter smooth Steve Schwitters close-gear-ratio gearbox. Custom-made Wes Ingram lightweight aluminum radiator with integrated oil cooler.   Maybe 10 hours of racing on the motor.   Multiple SVRA, VRG and VDCA podium finishes.  Truly race ready with current VRG Logbook.   Today, you could not build a GTV like this one, or go this fast and look this pretty hauling arse ($15,000 Ferrari red/white paint 10 years ago, and nearly $30,000 motor), for under $100,000.   And, if you did try to build one like this, you wouldn't be racing until the end of next year.   Raced Watkins Glen, Summit Point, VIR, Lime Rock, New Jersey, Pittsburg, Roebling Road, Atlanta, etc.
