Ford Cosworth BDT Evolution engine
Originally manufactured for the group B Ford RS200
This one built by John Wilcox Race Engines as a naturally aspirated version
Original 84mm stroke but now with 97mm bore to achieve just under 2.5 litre capacity
Running on GEMS electronic fuel injection and ignition system
Dyno run only making well over 300 bhp when tested
Comes with spare damaged cylinder block and head which have been repaired but still require finish machining
Have included photo of BDT-E next to conventional BDG to highlight the difference in length of the two engines
