Description:

An authentic 1995 Vauxhall Astra GSi Mk3. Used by Vauxhall to test their RedTop engines. In 1998 I purchased the car and converted it into a Super Road Saloon, used only on tarmac, never damaged, driven to every event and drove back.

It became the fastest 2litre N/A Production car in the UK, winning it's class and overall 268 times, and numerous Championships. There  were a few magazine features on the car.

Many of the Championships, I had to run List 1a tyres, taxed, MOT and insured. Several lap records the Astra set have still not been beaten.

The shell is all steel, fully glazed. The interior has original dashboard, new 6/point seats, rear seat, door covers. There is a Safety Devices cage. Drivers door electric window. Quick release bumpers, weight approx 960 kilos.

Brakes are Four Pot Willwoods, Alcon discs. Adjustable platforms, polly bushed. Hydraulic handbrake, Bias Peddle Box.

SBD RedTop engine, Quaife Gearbox, AP Paddle clutch.Janspeed Manifold, DTA ECU, various cut offs.

New OZ Superlite wheels.

Work to be done: New tyres needed, new MOT needed if to be road used. A new battery needed, a new fire system needed, a new silencer needed, some minor wiring to be connected. A good weeks work.

For negotiation: I do have a huge amount of spares. A complete set of authentic standard GSi body panels, doors, bonnet, hatch and the GSi bumpers and bodykit.

A Hi-Torque engine block with crank, sumps, rods, race pistons. Cometic gaskets and seals.

A spare F20 gearbox, AP paddle clutches, gear linkage kits.

Boxes of engine spares, shims, rods, various pulleys, belts, all the original PAS systems. Boxes of suspension and brake parts, spare race discs, assorted pads, track rod ends, links, arms, spare suspension and springs. Spare alloy wheel sets.

Lots of the build history from 1995. Hundreds of images and event records. Full V5, old MOT's until it was retired and stored in a heated garage.

You will need to trailer away and bring a van the size  of a Transit if you have the spares.
