Here is an authentic historic Trans-Am Camaro. Already a part of the certified "Historic Trans-Am" group, and is certified as a SVRA Gold Medallion status correct car. Correct history on this beauty! Very rare to find for sale, just a beautiful fast chassis. 

**302/305.. 7hrs on engine, heads pulled for inspection, 30 minutes on the engine after that.

**T10 trans; 30 minutes on fresh trans.

**2 notebooks full of documentation and pictures.

To be accepted into the ranks of the Historic "Trans-Am Group" in the USA, the car must meet the strict provenance as copies are not accepted. This beauty has raced with HTA, a great group of exceptional racers.  I have known and represented this owners' cars for years; they are always spot-on. The Dad and two sons have raced for years, primarily Corvette, but one Mustang we sold, and this Camaro. No finer original, fast and correct Trans-Am chassis.

Documented History:

This car was originally built by Don Winter in Minnesota.

It was originally campaigned in the Northeast region, driven by Leigh Gardner, and was raced at Donnybrooke, Elkhart Lake, Road America, Road Atlanta, Watkins Glen and Edmondton, Alberta, by Carl Shafer, Dick Kantrud, and Howie Fairbanks.

In the mid 70s it was put away as raced and rediscovered in 1999 in a warehouse in Little Rock, Arkansas.

In 2001, after a thorough restoration it made its Trans-Am debut at the Historics in Seattle followed by the Monterey Historics in August.
