Description:

CGRC are one of the largest single make UK Championships in club racing, working hard to provide the best in fair, close and competitive Caterham racing in a social and friendly environment. 

The Club is run for members by members – volunteers who are elected by the racers themselves - and as a non-profit every £ is plowed back into the clubs activities. This, combined with our driving standards team (who work alongside the clerk and circuit officials to keep driving clean and fair) and limits on tyres help to keep costs down.

We run two classes, each on their own grid, Sigma 150 and Sigma 135:

• Our Sigma 150 class is equivalent to the current Caterham Motorsport 310R.  Older fixed cam Supersport specification cars are also eligible for the Sigma 150 class. 
• Our Sigma 135 class is open to any Caterham Motorsport Sigma-engined car (from 2014 onwards) up to the current 270R specification.

The season comprises seven race weekends (including a european round), with two or three races at each meeting. These are typically two-day meetings; we also have our pre-season track day in February to shake off the winter cobwebs.

Racing Membership are available as a Full, Trophy or Guest Member:

Full Membership – for Members that wish to compete in a full Championship and have priority entry for all rounds.

Trophy Membership – for Members looking for some flexibility/a reduced season but who still want to work towards an overall standing; pre-select 3 UK events to be scored as your Trophy rounds, and enter any additional rounds you want on a non-scoring basis.

Guest Driver – We welcome guest drivers from Caterham Motorsport Roadsport, 270R and 310R classes and 7 Race Series 1600 classes.
