Price: £20,000  

Introduced to the UK at the start of Dallara dominance here, this is believed to be the ex-Edenbridge chassis driven by Oliver Gavin. You can see it in action and finishing third at the Brands Hatch meeting of 16th May 1993 by following this link:

Oliver went on to win five of the rounds that year and was runner-up to Kelvin Burt in the Championship. 

The current owner has fitted Ford engines in various specifications for club racing in the UK and championships have been won in the Formula Four category previously run by the 750 MC, and in the SEMSEC series for Single Seaters. Latterly, the car has competed in events organised by the fabulous Monoposto Club, utilising a Ford Zetec and to the specifications of its Mono 2000 Class. 

The car is also suitable for Hillclimbs, Sprints and Formula Libre races. It comes with a higher performance Scholar Zetec spare engine, unused since a full rebuild following three wins and a second place in Brands Hatch all-comers single-seater races. The Scholar Dyno recorded 229 bhp when new. The rebuild was carried out by Stanwood Engineering which has also built the Mono 2000 engine currently in the car.

More recently, Nick Edginton of Edginton Racing has renovated and engineered the car to a high standard, no expense spared.  It sits as last raced at Silverstone in July and entered at Donington in September of this year, completely ready to go. There are three mounted sets of tyres including a brand new and completely unused set of Avon wets. Spares include some additional rims, bodywork, a nosecone and wing parts.

The price for the whole lot is £20,000, sold as seen.
