Original Ford Sierra Coswort RS500 Group A.

This was Pat Dorans Ford Sierra Cosworth RS 500 Group A car. He was the first owner, and sold it to Tom Einar Aaserud (NO) in 1988/89, who drove it in the european rallycross champinship throughout the whole Gr A period. The car won several races, f ex. at Lydden Hill. Aaserud continued with hill climb competition throughout the 90’s with many victories.

After this, a professional in body work, bought the car and did a fantastic job with the finish on the body. The car is equally beautiful underneath, inside and on the outside.

the engine has recently been overhauled 100% by the best in Norway. The engine is almost like new and has only done one race since the engine was completely renovated (and finished in 2. place in the first run).

The exhaust system is new and built by profesionals. The turbo is resently overhauled, new intercooler and new radiator. 

Also new:

-        Reiger suspension Group A historic spec (FIA legal).

-        fuel tank.

-       Breaks and wheel bearings newly overhauled. 

-        Getrag sincro FIA legal gearbox newly overhauled

-        Rear differential viscous FIA legal built by Sellholm Tuning (Sweden).

-        Engine built by Robert Skaugerud (Martin Schancke’s former mechanic (arround 525 hp).

The car is mapped by Volden Racing (the absolute best in Norway)

-        Life Racing ECU with data logger

-       12 rims follow + several Pirelli tyres (rain tyres and slicks (soft).

Rear axel/differencial: two differencials follow the car (3.9 and 4.3) both have run only 2-3 races. (3.9 differencial: viscous FIA historic legal, and the 4.3 is a lamel diff. also FIA historic legal). 

In the spirit of historic Racing this wonderful car has valid HTP for another 5-6 years, and the decoration of the car's exterior is inspired by Andy Rouse's "Kaliber" look/design.
