Following its succesful return to the track at the recent ,Silverstone Festival, Dean Forward Motorsport, are proud to offer for sale , the original Fina Team Surtees TS10-04.

 Not to be mistaken for the more common TS15, the TS10 is the Surtees model that won the 1972 F2 championship with Mike Hailwood. Only 6 TS10's were made and only 3 are known to still exsist.

 This Surtess TS10, chssis number 04, was originally built for F1 driver Andrea De Adamich, to race as the Fina Team Surtees car, and run by the works Surtees team.

 Raced in Formula 2  by De Adamich in 1972, and again in Formula 2 ,in  73 and 74 by Etienne Aignor and loaned to Helmut Koinigg, the car then was used in various hillclimb championships until 1978. Being unused since 1978 , in 1983 , the car was bought by Mario Colombo, and mounted on an appartment wall in Switzerland . On the wall since 1983, in 2019 , the car was purchased from the wall by Dean Forward , and returned to the UK for a full restoration and return to the race track. 

 A complete restoration ,was  undertaken by Dean Forward Motorsport, using as many of the original components as possible, and returning the car to its original period Fina Livery. Included in the restoration were, new fuel and electric systems, including new bag tanks, A New Richardson alloy BDG. New MGR Dampers , and a fully rebuilt original spec FG400 by Hewland classic. New replica MB Racing wheels and all other parts stripped ,rebuilt or replaced . New harness and new service fire system were installed just befor the silverstone festival. 

 After its succesful return to the race track at Silverstone , finishing 4th overall ,the car is now fully re-race prepped and ready for its next outing. Offered for sale with 2 sets of new wheels , one with new wets, one with, one race old slicks, and a choice of gear ratios to suit .  FIA Papers are in progress so a new HTP will also be supplied . All photographic history of the restoration is available and many period documents are also available .
