Porsche 993 RSR
Description:
Built in 1999 by Gordon Wardle of 9 Automotion Porsche Specialsits for Richard and Chris Eggington, raced and devloped by Mike Jordan for several years in Belcar and Intermarque Races.
Based on a 3.2 Carrera shell, fabricated with weld in roll cage and many 934 / 935 upgardes and running gear.
Weight saving was a key focus when built, using Kevlar bumpers, bonnet wings, doors and boot.
Fitted with a Judd built 3.5 Litre short stroke engine making 390hp using Judd slide throttles with bespoke MBE ignition system and purpose built race wiring loom. The engine has done less than 10 hours running since its last rebuilt with Judd. Recommended running time before rebuiuld is 40 hours.
The car is fitted with 934/935 Hubs, centre lock system and suspension, Turbo trailing arms and Penske dampers, all developed by Mike Jordan with an extensive testing programme. This was proven with how competitively it competed against the then new Porsche 996 GT3RS in Belcar.
The car has been in storage for 15 years and has just been recommisoned by us at JRT, with new fuel lines, Battery, Seat, Belts and a full service.
Now ready to run as a very quick car for CSCC, various Sports and Saloons series or very serious Trackday car.
Car comes with multiple sets of wheels, Exhausts, Bodywork and dampers.
