Description:
Extremely reluctant sale of our THP Spider
Built by Mygale for Peugeot Sport for a 1 make European Championship supporting ELMS, this is Simon Moultons Championship winning car from 2008. Since then it has been on display at Peugeot in Andover before being purchased by Thruxton Motorsport Centre and used for passenger rides for many years, mostly driven by myself and maintained superbly by the Thruxton Team. The car was retired around 5 years ago and initially went into storage before coming back to me as the owner. Since then it has had much money spent including, Full 6k Gearbox rebuild at SWR, New Turbo, New Lightened Flywheel and Helix Paddle Clutch, New Red Top Battery, New Harnesses, New Extinguisher plus much more to list. The car comes with 12 of the original Speedline Race Wheels, 4 with used Pirelli Wets, 4 with used Pirelli Slicks and 4 with new unused Goodyear Slicks. The car is 100% as original and still wears much of the original Graphics and patina. There are a few You tube videos of the car in action and a couple of myself doing some laps of Thruxton. The car is an absolute weapon in the right hands and will disgrace most Supercars on a track day and is capable of being run for very little expense if maintained correctly.
Reason we are seeling is 2 fold, firstly i am not 25 any more and no longer get the urge to go racing or getting bounced around on track days coaching. Secondly the car needs a new Gearbox Control Unit or preferably wiring loom adapted to a new combined ECU/GCU for the paddleshift system. (Mike Longman is the man to assist if required). All the kit is there and working apart from the GCU which is a magnetti marelli motorsport unit. (maybe someone out there has one)
The Car is on the button otherwise and comes with a large package of spares as well as a spare front bonnet
We also have full set up data for the European circuits and record of all work done and expenditure almost from new
Thanks
