Built by Ralph Firman for Jim Russell Racing
Briefly raced by Tom Walkinshaw in 1970
Subsequently shipped to the USA and later purchased by Pete Lovely ( former Lotus sports car racer and F1 driver). It was then rebodied with the later Lotus 69 panels.
After Pete's death several of his cars were advertised in MotorSport magazine, December 2012.
The car was purchased and imported to the UK, by the previous owner, who commissioned Peter Denty to undertake a comprehensive rebuild and return it to its original sharknose format and Jim Russell racing livery.
The car has been invited to race at Goodwood for the F3 series twice.
The car has FIA papers which are valid until December 2028 & HSCC identification paperwork valid until 2026.
The car is in immaculate condition, having had limited use since in rebuild by Peter Denty.
The car car would be an ideal addition to the historic F3 screamer series.
The car is located in the Midlands
