Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe

Built new for 2021 using a brand new Chassis and Body unit by Jordan Racing Team Ltd.

Fitted with a Custom Cages FIA roll cage and all of the main suspension and running gear supplied by Cobra specialists CRC (Classic Racing Cars)

We did a huge amount of work as a bare chassis to optimise as much driver space with in the cockpit. Body and chassis were painted in original Shelby Blue and white as per the original cars by Motorsport specialists Normandales. Our own spec of wiring loom produced, all pipe work produced by ATEC, Peter Knight FIA spec 289 (now with 2 Masters events since last rebuild) car was constructed using our high level of attention to detail. 

Once complete for the start of the 2021 season we carried out 8 pre season test days. During this we did a huge amount of damper / spring and roll bar work to ensure this car was a front runner in any series. After much success with Multiple Poles Positions, Podiums and Race wins the car was unsued during 2023. In May 2024 we competed again at Brands Hatch Masters, securing Pole Position and finishing 3rd overall, again proving the car is capable of running at the front against the highest level of competition.

Car will be sold ready to race with only 2 Masters events on the engine and gearbox since last rebuilds.

Qualifying - 1st. Race Result - 3rd Overall

2nd October 2021 - Masters Spa Gentleman Drivers
Qualifying - 1st. Race Result - 1st

31st October 2021 - Motor Racing Legends Silverstone - Pall Mall Cup
Qualifying - 4th. Race Result - 3rd

16th April 2022 - Masters Donington - Gentleman Drivers
Qualifying - 1st. Race Result - 5th

1st May 2022 - Motor Racing Legends Donington - Pall Mall Cup
Qualifying - 2nd in class. Race Result - 3rd

14th May 2022 - Masters Silverstone - Gentleman Drivers
Qualifying - 5th. Race Result - 6th

28th May 2022 - Masters Brands Hatch - Gentleman Drivers
Qualifying - 1st. Race Result - DNF, winning by 20 seconds before puncture, 5 minutes from the end.

27th August 2022 - Masters Silverstone Classic - International Trophy
Qualifying - 8th. Race Result - 10th in class

25th May 2024 - Brands Hatch GP Masters

Qualifying - 1st. Race Result. 3rd overall and 2nd in class
