1969 Merlyn Mk11A Historic Formula Ford Project
Description:
Chassis number 181/FF/69 was supplied new by ‘Merlyn of North America’ in 1969 via Paul Flannery, from whom the owner bought the car nearly 50 years later and subsequently repatriated.
The chassis has since been sandblasted and has a new latest specification roll hoop and brace. Seat belt mountings, gearbox cross-member and any damaged tubes and pick-up points were replaced, and the chassis was powder coated correct grey. All this work was carried out by Motorsport Components (Robin Longden/Callum Grant). The car has new wishbones and radius rods, and all the suspension has been re-chromed.

• Steering rack
• Master cylinders
• Brake calipers
• Pedals
• Engine mounts
• Enamel nose badge
• Correct GT6 stove enamelled wheels
together with most used parts required to complete to a rolling chassis, and a period correct Hewland gearbox which is stripped for inspection. Alternatively can be supplied with a zero miles Hewland for £15,000.
