Ex-Jersey Racing Partnership Merlyn raced by Tony Sargeant. Documented 1965 U.K. championship winning history. Featured in Autosport Magazine in 1965.  Raced in U.S. historic racing since 1987, including the Monterey Historics. Comes with 2012 FIA HTP papers, and  HSCC Vehicle Identity papers.

The Merlyn was the subject of a frame-up restoration in 2009-2010, including a new chrome moly frame. The original frame will come with the car. The car still retains its original chassis tag. 

Since restoration there are six weekends (approximately 6-8 hours) on the Merlyn’s 1600 c.c. Loyning dry sump Lotus Twin Cam. 45 DCOE Webers. Hewland Mk6 five speed gearbox. 

Panasport wheels, and Koni shocks. All period correct Smiths gauges. Belts good to 2025. 

Spares include some original wheels and a passenger seat with restraints. 

The Merlyn was last offered for sale in 2018 at $112,000. Since then it has had three races on it, plus a fresh respray. The car just won in its last outing in November, 2024. The current owner is hanging up his helmet and "thinning the herd." As a result you can get the same Merlyn with period championship winning race history, a new chassis AND the original chassis (including the original chassis tag) plus period documentation, and full ownership history for the reduced price of $78,000.
