Description:

Currently using 4.875 limited slip differential. Uprated Peter May Engineering half shafts - double roller bearing rear hubs.
Aero screen that can be fitted once the windscreen is removed (2 nuts and bolts and 2 set screws and it is off. A matter of a few minutes.
Original Frog Eye Sprite seats and the car runs as road going so there is no need to get involved with after market racing seats. A 1963 car with a good solid chassis and all steel bodywork with Honeybourne Mouldings fibreglass bonnet and boot. Roll over bar, Astrali 14 inch steering wheel, Smith's stepper motor rev counter, Lumunition rev limiter, low pressure oil warning light, oil temperature gauge, Revotek electric fan, purpose built 12.5 litre aluminium fuel tank mounted under the boot floor, 2 Facet Gold fuel pumps switched to change over, new ethanol fuel piping throughout lagged for heat protection and Filter King adjustable pressure filter with separate gauge for adjustment.

Chassis
Rose jointed 5/8 inch front anti roll bar - adjustable front lever arm dampers  - lowered from springs - negative camber trunnion joints - Peter May Engineering extra arm front damper kit - 8 leaves removed as was done in period from the rear quarter elliptic springs to dampen suspension - rose jointed rear traction rods - converted to use new AVO adjustable rear vertical telescopic dampers - panhard rod - car corner weighted and set up by a previous owner - handles really well. Balanced prop shaft with recent new universal joints.
Head rest for driver fitted at scrutineers request.
Minilite 5.5J wheels with Avon ZZS 155/55 x 13 tyres. These are the control tyres from the Caterham racing series.

Brakes
4 pot Wilwood front brakes with Green Stuff pads - standard rear brakes just refurbished with new brake shoes - twin circuit system with modified brake box with balance bar.

Engine
OSB built 1380cc engine built for torque in 2019 before pandemic -  race head with one piece valves (cost £1000 plus -engine builder will only fit one piece valves ) unleaded valve seats - MED 1.5 ratio roller rockers, these alone cost£ 600 - Swift Tune SW 10 cam with Swift Tune variable timing double chain cam kit - Omega racing pistons - centre main bearing strap - Peter May Engineering steel flywheel balanced with very recent new Peter May Engineering 7 and 1/2 inch clutch and clutch plate and new roller bearing clutch release. Correct Aldon matched distributor with Aldon electronic ignition - Peter May Engineering engine steady bar - Baffled sump. Setrab oil cooler with separately mounted oil filter. Lightweight DMS racing battery - super powerful.
Hi torque Powerlite starter motor. Weber 45 DCOE on long Maniflow inlet manifold. Maniflow exhaust manifold and custom made 2 and 1/4 inch bore exhaust system silencer across the rear of the car. Special large radiator. The car never overheats.
Built for torque - very usable and will pull from just below 1000 rpm - rev limiter set at 7000 rpm Dyno'd at 124bhp

Gearbox
Standard rebuilt ribbed gearbox.

All finished off with a custom made tonneau cover and good standard hood.
