Fender and Broad (www.fenderbroad.com) have a small selection of outstanding prototype race cars in our portfolio for sale including THREE iconic Ligier JS P2 LMP2 prototypes.

Chassis #05 was first campaigned in 2015 by G-Drive Racing with a Nissan VK engine, where it finished on the LMP2 podium 6 times en route to 3rd in the WEC LMP2 Championship. Chassis #05 was then sold to RGR Sport by Morand where it yet again campaigned the World Endurance Championship with amazing success, achieving 7 podiums and 2 class wins in the 2016 World Endurance Championship and finishing 2nd in the LMP2 standings come season’s end. 

Chassis #05’s final seasons in modern competition came in 2018 and 2019 when United Autosports campaigned the car in the Asian Le Mans Series, claiming 5 podiums and a race win in the 4 Hours of Buriram en-route to victory in the 2018-19 Asian Le Mans Series Championship.

Chassis #10

This particular chassis, chassis #10 was first raced by OAK racing in 2015 powered by a Nissan VK engine. The car was campaigned in the European Le Mans Series and the World Endurance Championship before being sold to Panis Barthez Competition in 2016 where it again competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, but only launching an assault on the European Le Mans Series. BBT then purchased the car from Panis Barthez before competing in the Asian Le Mans Series where the car achieved 4 podiums over the course of the 2017-2018 season, and for the final year of current LMP2 homologation, Spirit of Race again campaigned the Asian Le Mans Series, winning the Shanghai 4 Hours and finishing 2nd in the overall season classification.

Chassis #14

This chassis, chassis #14, was purchased by IDEC sport Racing with a Judd HK engine for the European Le Mans Series in 2016, where it achieved several top 10 finishes in a solid season before being sold to Panis Barthez Competition where it achieved two podiums in the 2018-2019 Asian Le Mans Series.

Chassis #05 and #10 are offered with a refreshed engine and gearbox meaning the cars are completely 0 Hours. Both these Chassis are offered at €400,000

Chassis #14 is offered for sale at €380,000 with the Judd engine Engine having 5,000km left before next rebuild with the gearbox having 7,000km left to run before rebuild.

As the JS P2 is now eligible for historic racing, it is a fantastic way of competing right at the front of any historic grid against significantly more expensive machinery. The history of these three cars says a lot about the success and performance of the JS P2 and no doubt would be a fantastic experience for their new owners.
