BMW 2002Tii Rally Car

Chassis 2780927 left hand drive, now UK registered. Originally delivered in the USA by BMW importer Max Hoffman on 14/01/1974. First customer in Watsonville California kept the car for 30 years before exporting it to the Netherlands on 16/08/2004. It then underwent a 3 year €37,000 restoration and preparation for historic rallies where it was used lightly from 2012 - 2016.

In 2019 the car was imported into the UK and registered. After further detailed preparation the owner took part successfully in the 2020 Niege et Glace winter rally in Eastern France.

Since that time the car has been with BMW collectors for whom further restoration and improvement has taken place, notably at Munich Legends.

The car has a BMW "Geburtsurkunde", certificate of originality

The engine was prepared by Mannessen in the Netherlands and now has Weber carburettors, the original fuel injection system is supplied with the car.

In addition ZF dog leg 5 speed gearbox, limited slip differential, aluminium radiator, Bilstein suspension, strut braces, full FIA roll cage, Brantz trip meter, intercom, Cibie rally lighting, new TRD seat belts and extinguisher in 2024.
