Description:

BMW S54 engine part built, removed from our Z3 race car last year for a routine rebuild, but has not been finished and now it needs a home!

Bottom end completely built with new ARP bolts, fresh bearings etc

There was slight pickup on the crank, so it has been reground by Hurley Race Engineering and new bearings have been fitted.

Pistons and rings have done less than 5 hours running, and all pistons and rods have been matched for weight.

Standard cams ready to fit, but this would be a perfect time to drop some big cams in!

Also has a super light flywheel and multi plate 7.25" clutch, rated to 700Nm, with around 10 hours use.

We also have the following, which could be packaged together or sold individually for the right offer:

Drenth DG400 sequential gearbox (approx 5 hours use since Drenth rebuild)

Custom built, Zircotec coated, twin side exit exhaust system with manifolds suitable for RHD cars (has been fitted to an E36 and a Z3, no reason it wouldn't fit other models)

Emtron KV8 ECU and custom wiring loom, all built and setup by GG Motorsport for this engine and gearbox 

XAP paddleshift actuator with magnetic steering wheel paddles, controlled by the Emtron ECU (flat shift, auto blip etc)

Offers for the full package (engine, gearbox, ECU, paddle shift system and wiring loom) in the region of £15,000

 

Engine is available as is, or could be completed for extra £££. I believe the only parts missing are a water pump and some gaskets.

 

If you buy the full package, you have a monster setup to turn any BMW into a serious track car!

Hugely reluctant sale, it really should all be going back in the Z3 as it was intended, but time and money prohibit, so here we are!
