NOS Ford GT40 MkIV Turbine Wheels
Description:
Offered for sale is a complete set of genuine GT40 Mk4 Turbine wheels. Rear wheel set is comprised of 2ea 15" x 12" (one right and one left). Front set is comprised of 2ea 15" x 8" (one right and one left) plus one additional 15" x 8" left front for spare. 5 wheels total.
These are identical wheels to what was installed on the 1967 427 powered Ford GT40 MK4 driven to overall victory at LeMans by Dan Gurney and AJ Foyt.
All wheels are in 'as new' unused conditon. They have never had tires mounted, and have never been installed on a hub. Note in photos that exposed magnesium on front side of wheels is painted with a grey primer from factory to seal the metal.
I was told these were delivered with a Riley Engineering MKIV GT40, and never used.
Pin drive pattern is 6 x 4.5" with .500" pin holes.
Rear spacing is as shown in the photos.
