This Sunbeam Tiger has had an extraordinary life that many cars could only wish for. It came back to the UK from South Africa in 1989 and has since become a competitive and championship-winning historic racer. Under the lightweight bonnet reveals a David Henning Motorsport prepared 302 5.0L engine which has a list of additional upgrades. Along with safety features, drive train and suspension setup has resulted in the following success in the 2000's: 2005 Class A Joint Champion 2006 Sunbeam 3rd in the Championship, Class A Joint class Champion 2007 Sunbeam Intermarque Championship winners, Class A Runner Up and Runner Up in Championship 2009 Sunbeam Intermarque Chamionship winners, Class A Runner Up and Runner Up in Championship 2010 Sunbeam 3rd in Championship and Class A Runner Up In its more recent history, it has been to fewer race events, however it has been lovingly maintained. All of the safety equipment has been kept serviced, along with all the mechanical components.

The current owner in 2023 commissioned 20k of work to prepare the Tiger for his entry into Classic Car racing. Since the work has been completed and with one demo day at Castle Coombe due to ongoing backpain the owner has decided to sell. This gives the new owner a great opportunity to jump straight in and use it on the track or the local B-roads.
