Brian James Race Shuttle 3 RS3 Enclosed Trailer 2009/10

The trailer is far from perfect cosmetically with plenty of scratches, paint fade and paint peeling. If you want cosmetically perfect, then no need to read further. It is however mechanically very sound having benefitted from a full overhaul in 2022 (as detailed below), and because it spent the first 9 years of its life in the UAE, is in very good condition structurally and on the underside. It is perfect for someone who either wants to respray to their own design, or someone who wants to be able to leave it outside and use without fear of it showing signs of wear and tear.

Maintenance:

A new jockey wheel assembly was fitted in June 2019 (supplied by Brian James)

4x new tyres (plus spare) were replaced in August 2021 along with a mechanical service – estimated 1,500-2,000 miles on the tyres

In April-June 2022, I had a mechanical overhaul of the trailer undertaken (all invoices provided) comprising the following:

4x brake hubs and bearings (supplied by Brian James)

4x sets of brake shoes (supplied by Brian James)

New front tow hitch / handbrake

Full rewiring of all electrics with installation of junction boxes and additional side, rear and interior LED lights

Rear marker board and number plate holder

I purchased the trailer from the second owner in May 2016 while living in Abu Dhabi, UAE. I imported the trailer to the UK upon relocating home in June 2019. My purchase invoice and all export / import paperwork will be provided with the trailer as well as invoices for maintenance during my ownership. It was used quite regularly in Abu Dhabi going back and forth to Yas Marina F1 track but has only seen sparing use here in the UK, 2-3 times per year on average.

Porsche 911 993

Smart car EV (but required tyres to be deflated owing to roof height

Citroen AX GT

Westfield track car (loads of space, including for tools, clamps etc upfront)
