The most successful of all the Megapins built in the hands of Glyn Sketchley, the original and long term owner. Originally with a Yamaha FZR engine, but prior to our ownership with a Suzuki GSXR 1000 K4 fitted.

My son started with this car at age 17 and has enjoyed some success with it in the time but is now moving on to a bigger class.

Much admired for its' appearance and standard of preparation, and has proven to be reliable and competitive in the class.

It is a Carbon monocoque, so strong and safe, and has inboard suspension with Quantum dampers - very advanced for its' time.

It has an Extreme Engines alloy sump with swinging pickup and is also fitted with a Flatshifter Expert system.

New inner and outer driveshaft joints fitted one event ago.

Set of half worn A92 slicks on rims and a set of twice used A92 Intermediates on rims. I also have a brand new set of A15 slicks, bought three months ago from BMTR while stock was available, which I will sell on at cost to the purchaser  of the car if required. I aleady have a buyer for them if they do not go to the purchaser, so will not sell to anybody else.

We have all set up info, all historical results and spare nosecone and various other bits and pieces.

In date seatbelt and current passport.

My son is a slim 6ft 1 in boy and fits with plenty room.

Starts on the button every time and an easy car to run, so ideal starter car for a young driver - following the constructer, the late Ian Scott's ethos of encouraging young people into the sport, it would be great to see it go to another young driver.

We are looking for a very reasonable £7000 or thereabouts as we have the new car, so would rather sell this than hold out for more !
