Description:

2013 Audi R8 LMS Ultra.  Imported from Germany by GMG motorsports in 2019-purchased from noted racer  from Uwe Alzen . Given its mid-life refresh at 10,000km per Audi factory specs including gearbox refresh. It was  raced only twice in Masters events by James Sofronas where it placed first both times.

Sold to SKI Autosports in early 2023, it was refreshed again with updated safety equipment including a new fuel cell in May of that year to enable it to race in the SRO GT America series.

Driven by retired GM factory driver, Johnny O'Connell, it was on the podium five times racing against brand new GT3 cars, including a 3rd at VIR, on the pole at COTA and 1st and 2nd at Nashville demonstrating its continuing competitiveness. It also recorded the highest trap speed at Road America. Johnny won the hard charger award at Sebring driving from 7th on the grid to 3rd and won the SRO GT America Masters Championship.

The car has been expertly maintained by Philip Creighton motorsports and is in race ready condition with an extensive complement of spares including 4 sets of wheels, numerous body parts, brake and suspension parts, plus a spare splitter and diffuser.
