RLM Racing 1440cc Hayabusa Race Engine

I have an RLM Racing full race specification 1440cc engine which was built and has been looked after by RLM Racing. Based on Gen 2 engine but with stronger Gen 1 barrel rebored and replated to 84mm.

Specific build details are :

1. 84mm Gen 1  Rebored & Replated barrel
2. 84mm Cosworth high compression pistons
3. Arrow H Beam Connecting Rods
4. CNC - gas flowed cylinder head with chamber work and +1mm valve seats
5. Kibblewhite +1mm larger intake and exhaust valve sets
6. RLM uprated double valve springs to suit cams
7. Steel valve retainers
8. RLM Stage 2 Billet Camshafts
9. Arrow Heavy Duty Valve buckets
10. Cylinder head Stud & Nut Kit
11. RLM Billet cam chain tensioner body
12. Roller style cam chain conversion kit with roller sprockets
13. Gen 2 Clutch Basket + spring/pillar set up
14. Brand new clutch plates
15. Super finished input shaft
16. Dual Output Hall Effect Gear Position Sensor
17. Specific long ratio gear set by Nova Racing to enable the 1440’s 260+bhp to be used to its full potential with a 3.14 ratio differential
18. RLM Dry Sump Kit  - CNC machined pan and oil scavenger pump
19. SBD Billet clutch slave cylinder
20. RLM Billet 45mm Angled Throttle Bodies (AT Power) – so the throttle bodies sit under the bonnet

This engine is the highest specification 1440cc engine available from RLM Racing and has 260 bhp at the crankshaft on a conservative and safe map.

This engine with the angled throttle bodies would cost well over £17,000 if purchased new.

This engine has done 5 hours on load from new (this can be independently verified by RLM Racing from the ECU data).

I would sell this engine including dry sump and angled throttle bodies included for £11,500

The only reason for sale is that I have removed it from my Caterham 7 and although I have two Cup cars that this could be fitted to, one is running a standard 1340 engine to comply with Cup 200 regulations and the other car is a Cup 400 and fitted with an RLM Racing supercharged Hayabusa engine, hence this 1440 engine no longer has a home and is therefore offered for sale.
