TTP Performance established In 2002 is an Historic race car preparers based near Droitwich and following a sustained period of growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced mechanic to join our family team preparing mainly British classic sports racing cars, supporting them at various race circuits in the UK, and occasionally in Europe. 

The ideal candidate must have a passion for historic cars and proven experience of working with them in multiple areas. 

The individual’s enthusiasm, energy, and pace of delivery are extremely important for this role as well as their workmanship quality.

Essential skills required

Detailed knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems (engine, transmission, driveline, suspension and brakes)

Ability to diagnose, assess and repair or replace work or faulty components or assemblies

Able to work as part of a team or with minimal supervision

A positive attitude and good resilience to problematic tasks

High attention to detail while being organised and methodical

Trackside experience

Full UK driving licence

Right to work in the UK.

Desirable skills

Metalwork skills, hand fabrication, welding

Manual machining (lathe/mill)

A formal qualification is not required, but relevant apprenticeships or qualifications would be beneficial.
