1973 Datsun 240z Race Car.

The provenance with this car has to be seen, its had an amazing history of racing in the USA and Europe with many many wins.

Completed in 1973 from new straight from the showroom in Oklahoma the build on this car originally was very impressive, and it competed with great success in SCCA sanctioned events in period all across the Mid west US.

The car moved to California in the early 80's and was upgraded to GT2 spec.

In the 30's and 90's this car competed in California, often on pole and making podium finishes. It is during this period the car was developed further within the GT2 rules.

This included; fitting a 2.8 lite engine being installed further back in the chassis, and fully adjustable wishbone suspension being added with big brakes.

She arrived in the UK in 2015 and had a maior overhaul with no part being untouched.

For the 2021 season this car benefited from extensive work and upgrades; included a fire extinguisher service, new foam filled fuel tank, gearbox and diff rebuild with cooling, new MSD ignition, new Weber carbs, cam shaft and an adjustable cam wheel.
