The essentials: 

This incredible Jaguar E-Type registered ‘210 YVH’ was fully rebuilt to our Ultimate Sayer Specification in 2018, and is based upon the last of the factory Lightweight E-Type roadsters built, ‘YVH 210’.

YVH 210 was chassis S850666, known as the Peter Sutcliffe Lightweight. An archetypal British gentleman driver, Peter Sutcliffe made his name racing Jaguars as a privateer in the late-1950s and 1960s. During this period, he built a considerable reputation for himself campaigning YVH 210 extensively throughout the UK including an outright victory at Snetterton and at the British Grand Prix meeting at Silverstone, and across Europe and South Africa. This arguably made him the most successful of all the Lightweight E Type owners, and making chassis YVH 210 the most active of all the twelve Lightweights.

The body tub was produced using the original car’s body bucks, with steel tub and aluminium panels, and then built to the latest M&C Wilkinson ‘Ultimate Lightweight’ E-Type specification. It comes with FIA approved custom cage, period red leather bucket race seat, lightweight fire extinguisher and Sayer FIA approved fuel safety cell. Wide angle cylinder head alloy block engine, with Sayer specification FIA gearbox and differential, and finished with our latest specification suspension.

With current FIA HTP papers, this impressive lightweight racer is ready for immediate use.
