This Saab 96 V4 was built by a Saab specialist and amateur racing driver as a rally car and successfully took part in several major rally events. Among others, it also took part in the "Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique", the "Winter Trial" in Holland and twice in the GP Ice Race in Zell am See. 

This Saab has many well thought-out technical refinements: these include two fuel pumps, two ignition distributors, a heated driver's seat, heated windows and a hydraulic parking brake. An underride guard protects the engine and transmission unit from accidental damage. The additional headlights, including the roof light, ensure good visibility, especially when driving at night. The roll cage is a safety guarantor and the built-in navigation devices and Tripmaster help with orientation.

The engine has been completely overhauled and now produces more than 90 hp - that's around 25 hp more than the Saab had in its original state.
