For sale on behalf of a customer this 07 Focus WRC. EA 07 PXN has just under gone a bare shell rebuild.

First used in Sardinia 07 by Luis Perez Companc as a Munchi’s Ford World Rally Team car he then also competed in Finland, New Zealand, Catalunya, Japan and Rally GB with it. For 2008 the car became part of the BP Ford Abu Dhabi WRT and was driven by Khalid Al Qassimi in Greece, Finland, Germany, Catalunya Corsica and Rally GB. In 2009 the car returned to be part of the Munchi’s Ford World Rally Team this time being driven by Federico Villagra in Cyprus, Portugal, Argentina, Sardinia and Greece.

After Greece 2009 the car was rebuilt ready for its new owner Paul Bird Motorsport to compete in Catalunya as part of the Stobart VK Ford Rally Team.

Paul Bird Motorsport are still the owner of this car and since they bought it in 2009 it has competed in 74 rallies with 23 outright victories and had a further 20 podiums. In 2019 Frank Bird took over the driving seat and kept the success of the car going, Frank having 10 wins and 1 more podium with the car.

At this point the car was completely stripped, the shell had new sills fitted and the chassis was checked. The shell was then blasted and the inside painted white. A complete new chassis, engine and gearbox loom has been used in the rebuild, all the other major units have been rebuilt, gearbox, diff, Hydraulics, Clutch etc. The engine has had a full rebuild including a new cylinder block and all the other parts included on the M-Sport rebuild list.

The car has been ran by the same professional team to M-Sport guidelines since it left M-Sport in 2009 with no expense spared. A mileage list for components since 2013 is available.
