Description:
2.0 litre Vauxhall RedTop Out of my EX QED Pilbeam MP62/82
Re Built by Tom New of New Techniques when I purchased the car and has been regularly refreshed every few years since, always with new Belts, ARP bolts and cometic head gasket. The last one was at the end of 2019 and as a result of COVID, an accident early in 2021 and now a power unit change over the winter of 2022/23, the engine has done very few events since.
After the last refresh, I have used a pre heater to warm it prior to starting and from the day I had it, the oil has been changed every 6 events during the season and engine turned regularly whilst in the car during the winter.
Engine has been kept in dry storage since removal and turned a 1/4 turn every 3 weeks.
A very strong, torquey engine that has done me well since I have had it. To build an engine of similar spec from new, would cost over £20k
