Historic Formula Ford Ginetta G18B
The G8 has been rebuilt and fitted with a rebuilt Bold engine and a Hewland MK8 gearbox, both recently refreshed. Recent extinguisher and belts
It has HSCC identity papers in addition to all the moulds for the bodywork and numerous spares and wheels.
As it’s chassis 007, several famous racing personnel have been associated with it. It was Adrian Reynard’s first race car and also Richard Robarts (later F1 driver) first race car. They have both signed the car along with Ivor Walklett, which has been preserved on the engine cover.
It comes with a covered trailer that is built and equipped specifically for the race car. It is a 4 wheeler with a winch and is a great tow. Along with the cars it can also carry all tools, spares wheels and pit bike.
The G18 has been successfully campaigned at many famous circuits across Europe and the UK over the last 9 years and as the owner is retiring from racing and offering this solid and sorted car, which raced by a younger (and more talented person!), will be a lot faster than he achieved.
The price includes all spares, trailer and everything to go racing at far below market value to encourage someone to get into Historic FF.
